Cost of Volunteering
With most other international volunteer programs, a participant could pay anywhere up to $3500 (USD) for simply participating! This does not include living and travel costs.
Veerayatan believes that volunteering your service is sacrifice enough. Therefore, if you decide to volunteer with Veerayatan, all you will pay for are your travel costs. Veerayatan will cover all living costs, administrative and processing fees, wherever you are placed with us. There are no hidden costs or charges.
Veerayatan will also grant fellowships to exceptional candidates who apply to the Fellowship scheme (see application form). This grant will cover all costs (including travel) relating to your volunteer placement with Veerayatan.

Learn new skills / languages / arts
Along with a rewarding and fulfilling experience as a volunteer with Veerayatan, you can get involved in our many extracurricular activities, free of charge.
You may have the opportunity to learn various languages, such as Sanskrit, Prakrit, Hindi, Gujarati, Kutchi, Marathi, Marwari and Bihari. You can also take part in yoga, meditation and new age therapy sessions, or get trained in any of the vocational courses we offer, from tailoring to drawing, motor winding to screen printing. Whatever your interest, Veerayatan will provide an opportunity for you to learn.
