To spread the Divine message of Tirthankar Mahavir, Veerayatan has initiated humanitarian work 35 years ago in the state of Bihar in India with the blessings of Pujya Gurudev Shri Amarmuniji Maharaj. Across the globe under the umbrage of Pujya Acharya Shri Chandanaji Maharaj, the inspiring centers of Veerayatan are espousing the cause of mankind without the distinction of Caste, Creed, Colour or Community. The Centers of Veerayatan are charitable in nature yet organized in a Professional and Pragmatic way which lends an aura of uniqueness to these centers.
Veerayatan has entered the land of Kutch during the aftermath of devastating earthquake of January 2001 in Gujarat. Veerayatan was in the forefront with a noble mission of rehabilitating the earthquake affected people especially children by immediately providing the basic necessities of life.
With a talented team of devoted and dedicated Sadhvijis under the motherly leadership of Pujya Acharya Shri Chandanaji, Veerayatan has strived hard to provide humanitarian services and educational facilities so that the people Kutch can lead a normal life and their living standards can be elevated. In the year 2001, a small beginning was made by constructing temporary wooden huts for rehabilitation of orphan and single parent children. Within a short span of four years a permanent educational complex par excellence was created at Jakhania giving fillip to general and professional education which led to the establishment of the first Pharmacy Degree College in the Dist. of Kutch in June 2005.
A foundation stone was laid on 20th August, 2005 for a full-fledged modern Pharmacy College and in less than two years 70,000 Sq. ft. construction has been completed to house the ultra modern Pharmacy College one of its kind in Gujarat. Now, the auspicious moment has come to witness a most significant event which will take place on 29th & 30th December 2007 at Veerayatan educational complex, Jakhania – Kutch, the grand Inauguration ceremony of Veerayatan Institute of Pharmacy.
As a close associate of Veerayatan, your august presence with friends and family members is a must for strengthening our confidence in creating more educational institutions to support young people so that they keep in pace with the progress of the Nation and Veerayatan being a spiritual institution will inspire youth in receiving holistic education. Your presence and participation will boost our enthusiasm to envisage new paths of development which will take Veerayatan to greater heights in the services of mankind.
You are solicited to arrive at Veerayatan Vidyapeeth – Kutch (Gujarat) latest by the evening of 28th December 2007 so that we can have fruitful participation in all the events till the afternoon of 31st December 2007. Highlights of the ceremony along with travel information are enclosed and detailed programme of this special occasion will be posted to you very soon.
