ABOUT NAVAL VEERAYATAN |

Veerayatan’s second major site—Navalveerayatan—
was inaugurated in 2000 near the city of Pune in the Western
state of Maharashtra. Since September 2000, over 14,500
visitors from all over the world have experienced the beauty
and serenity of Navalveerayatan.
Nestled amidst mountains overlooking a lake, Navalveerayatan
is guided by the belief that individual change leads to
societal change. By focusing on inner and personal
development, Navalveerayatan seeks to advance Veerayatan’s
overall global visions by starting with each individual.

In
this serene environment, Navalveerayatan’s staff provides
classes on yoga, meditation, stress management and new age
health therapies, using the most contemporary teaching
techniques and facilities. Additional features are offered, such
as nature walks, arts and crafts, music, sports, games, videos,
discussions and maun (period of silence and mediation). |

Currently, seven different courses are run in Navalveerayatan. These include:
Beejam-
A week long retreat for teens, 13-17 years of age
Setu-
A weekend workshop for companies to help develop
communication among employees
Prayog-
A week long retreat for young adults, 18-24 years of age
Sambodhi-
A weekend workshop for adults focusing on
self-development and awareness
Kalpam-
A week long retreat for adults focusing on yoga,
meditation and reflection
Anamika-
A one day non-residential course for adults age 26+
Residental Darshan-
Lectures and discussions with Navalveerayatan’s
sadhvijis (renunicates) |

Participants enjoy full vegetarian dining and
accommodations on the Veerayatan site for a nominal charge.
Special courses can be designed for families, women, corporate
employees and other groups. Courses can be conducted in English,
Hindi, Gujarati or Marathi.
Navalveerayatan is located 60 kilometers away
from the city of Pune. It is 2 hours away from the Pune railway
station and 1.5 hours away from the Pune airport (by car). With
advanced notice, Navalveerayatan staff can arrange for you and
your group to be picked up from Pune or other nearby areas.
