Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji’s association with Veerayatan since 1986, has contributed to bringing about a profound socio-economic and spiritual shift in the poor desert region of Kutch, Gujarat.  Inspired by her tireless efforts, Veerayatan has created world-class primary and vocational schools and specialized technical colleges in the province, bringing an unprecedented level of education to the dynamic people of Kutch.  Her intellectual brilliance, heartwarming compassioncomplete dedication to service and profound faith and spirituality continue to inspire all who come into contact with her.

Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji earned a Master’s Degree with first class in Financial Management and completed a Master’s Degree with distinction in Comparative Indian Religions at King’s College in London in 1996. Her mastery of Sanskrit, Prakrit, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and English has enabled her to touch people of all faiths and backgrounds across the world. She frequently lectures at Oxford and Harvard and been a representative at the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago in 1993 and again in 1999 in Cape Town, South Africa

sampraghyajiSadhvi Shri Sampragyaji, Director Rajgir

Sadhvi Shri Sampragyaji has been associated with Veerayatan since 1980. She completed her PhD in History of Jainism from Magadh University in Bihar. At present, she is responsible for administering the humanitarian activities at Veerayatan’s Rajgir campus.

Sadhvi Shri Sampragyaji is a scholar of Jainism, Buddhism and Hinduism. She speaks many different languages, including Hindi, English, and Gujarati. She is also well versed in Prakrit

chetnajiDr. Sadhvi Shri Chetnaji, Director NJSM Hospital

Dr. Sadhvi Shri Chetnaji has been associated with Veerayatan since its inception in 1973. She is now the Director of Veerayatan’s world renowned eye and polio hospital Netra Jyoti Seva Mandiram. She has single-handedly worked to make it one of the most modern, clean and efficient centers of its kind in all of eastern India.

Dr. Sadhvi Shri Chetnaji is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati

Sadhvi Shri Shubhamji has been associated with Veerayatan since 1970, before its formal inception. Her extensive travels within India and abroad have been instrumental in helping her spread Veerayatan’s message of compassionate humanitarianism, education and the importance of inner development.

Sadhvi Shri Shubhamji is a proficient scholar of Sanskrit and Prakrit, and she has extensively studied the scriptures and theories of Jainism, Buddhism and Hinduism. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi.
